Connect Source33 to your AI
This page connects Source33 as an app/tool inside another AI through MCP/OAuth. It does not import that AI’s private history into your Source33 Mentor.
Connect Source33 to your AI
This makes Source33 available as an app/tool inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or another compatible AI. It does not import that AI’s private chat history or memory into your Source33 Mentor.
https://source33.com/functions/source33_mcpYou do not need an SDK to connect Source33 inside ChatGPT, Claude or Grok. SDK/API configuration is only for developers building their own AI application around the same Source33 MCP server.
- 1Use ChatGPT on the web in an eligible Business / Enterprise / Edu workspace. Open Workspace settings → Apps → Create. If Developer mode is not enabled yet, enable it there / under the workspace Connected Data developer controls.
- 2Create a custom app named Source33.
- 3MCP endpoint: https://source33.com/functions/source33_mcp
- 4Authentication: OAuth. Arguments: none. Environment variables: none. API key: none. Source33 supports authorization code + PKCE, dynamic client registration and rotating refresh tokens.
- 5Press Scan Tools. When Source33 opens for authorization, sign in to the Source33 account you want connected and press Allow.
- 6After the tool scan completes, press Create. The Source33 app appears as a Dev/Draft app for testing. Workspace publication and public Plugin Directory submission are separate steps.
Need your ChatGPT / Claude memory inside AI Mentor instead?
Use Connect your AI inside AI Mentor to import your existing AI history, projects, goals, decisions and durable working context into Source33. That memory-import flow is deliberately separate from MCP/OAuth.

MCP URL is the public address of the Source33 server. It is not a password and is the same for everyone. OAuth is the normal sign-in flow and creates private credentials behind the scenes. A manual token is shown only in Advanced mode for older clients that cannot do OAuth. You should not enter Arguments, shell commands or Environment Variables when connecting ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Grok to the hosted Source33 MCP.
ChatGPT App / directory status
Remote MCP, OAuth authorization-code + PKCE, dynamic client registration, refresh-token rotation, scoped access and OAuth discovery are implemented. The Agent Skills are thin procedural wrappers; private formulas, routing weights and proprietary source corpora stay server-side.
A private Dev app can be created from ChatGPT’s Apps settings now when the account/workspace is eligible. A globally discoverable Source33 app/plugin is a separate OpenAI submission/publication step; creating the MCP backend alone does not put it in the public directory.
